Of all the chapters in the book, this is probably the most mis-understood dealing as it does with the most basic and powerful of human drivers, especially when desire is added to the mix.
Sex is the most powerful of all human desires. When driven by this desire, men develop keenness of imagination, courage, willpower, persistence, and creative ability unknown to them at other times
Throughout history wars have been fought because of man’s sexual desires, many World leaders, Politicians, Business tycoons and Inventors were also known for their high sex drives but because they were able to channel or direct that same focus and energy into other endeavours, the attainment of Wealth or Power, many achieved great things.
Transmuting, or changing, the high energy drive usually associated with the desire or act of sex from the purely physical to focus on thoughts of another type or nature brings with it the potential for incredible reward.
This channelling of our natural sex energy into other directions requires a high degree of willpower, but the reward is worth the effort because, as many have testified that increased state of awareness has made their minds more open to allow their creative imagination, or sixth sense, to deliver the ideas, hunches, plans and routes to their goal whatever that may be. Like many things in life, the lesson in this chapter might seem a daunting one to learn but as the man said “ What lies behind us and what lies before are but tiny matters compared with what lies within us”* so stick with it and let it work for you.
