From The Book
Think And Grow Rich,
Those who have cultivated the habit of persistence
Seem to enjoy insurance against failure. No matter how
Many times they are defeated, they finally arrive up toward
The top of the ladder. Sometimes it appears that there is a
Hidden Guide whose duty is to test men through all sorts
Of discouraging experiences. Those who pick themselves up
After defeat and keep on trying, arrive; and the world cries,
Bravo! I knew you could do it!
I like true story’s, This reminds me of a guy named Rudy,
He was 5’6 nothing. His dream was to play football for
Notre Dame, he had one friend that believed in him,
His friends and family just blew him off, your to small
most of those guys out weigh you 200 pounds, their
over 6 foot tall, your grades are not good enough.
He did not listen, one day it happen he was walking out onto
The Notre Dame practice football field. He kept getting
Knock down he would get back up, over and over again
For four years he was beat on. He earned a lot of respect
From his team mates and coaches, so much so this
5’6 nothing was ask to lead them out on to the football
Field to start the game, they all told him he earned it.
I think it’s safe to say most of us have been beaten up
By our friends and family. And like Rudy we have not quit,
And because of that we found Mentoring For Free.
We are and I am learning what it takes to become good networkers.
The opposite of persistence is quitting, it takes no talent
To quit, anybody can do it, and most people do.
WHY BE NORMAL?
