Most people will complain that it is impossible for you to “see
yourself in possession of money” before you actually have it.
This is the time having a burning desire come to our aid. When
we truly desire money with a keenness of desire, an obsession,
we will have no difficulty in convincing ourselves that we can acquire
it. The goal is to want money, with a determination to have it that
we convinced ourselves we will have it.
“Only those who become “money conscious” ever accumulate great riches.
“Money consciousness” means that the mind has become so thoroughly
saturated with the DESIRE for money, that one can see one’s self
already in possession of it.” Napoleon Hill
Take a trip to a mall, visit a plaza, or find a place where can be
found a water fountain, like Florence, Italy, New York City, or The
South Plains Mall here in Lubbock. On the bottom, you will find coins.
You will see a little child, or a teen couple having a mall date standing
by the edge and throwing in a coin. Many times, there will a really serious
coin thrower, you know the one that turners their back to the fountain.
Holds up a quarter and gives a kiss, then closes their eyes and throws the
coin over their head into the water. All of this is just to make a wish!
Sound funny, right? Well, isn’t this how most people approach their want
for money? They come to the well of wealth and riches, toss in their coins,
cross their fingers, and close their eyes, and hope or wish it happens.
Most are waiting to be shown the money, rather than reaching out with their
mind and heart clearly visualizing the wealth and abundance coming their
way.
Edwin Barnes saw his position and its wealth before he ever got on that
train. Henry Ford saw his single-block V8 well before his engineers.
Napoleon Hill saw the day his son would be able to hear on the day he
has born. So must we see your wealth being showered upon us will before
our banker knows it.
My answer to God is YES! Yes, I am an heir to His abundant, and I will
share and give it to others. “Give, and it will be given to you. A good
measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured
into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
