Chapter 15 outwitting the six ghost of fear
Faith and fear cannot occupy the same space at the same time.
When I see someone acting out of character, being mean to somebody, judging somebody,
or making a public nuisance of themselves I remind myself that something must have happened
to this person's thinking to make them act this way. They must be fearful or their thinking is
distorted and they don't realize it.
We are only here for a short time, to live in a state of faith knowing that whatever happens it's
going to be okay is a much happier place to be.
When fear takes over I use a lot of self talk and affirmations to get myself back into a state of faith.
I make it a habit to think things through, to own my actions, be aware of the consequences, and
think about other people involved.
Sometimes I ask myself is this the way you want the story to go, is this the way you want to
portray yourself, are you being who you want to be in the story.
If we are living right and have faith in God and belief in yourself then we have nothing to fear.
And yet sometimes, this is easier said than done.
Thank you Michael and Linda Dloughy and everyone on these calls.
My dad shared with me the three things you need to be happy in life, you need something to do,
something to love, and something to look forward to.
