Chapter 12 - The Subconscious Mind"
Fay Weldon has stated "Only one thing registers on the
subconscious mind: repetitive application - practice.
What you practice is what you manifest."
In other words the subconscious mind works through repetition.
Whether we say our self talk over and over or do an action over
and over, our subconscious mind will accept that as our
reality and think that is normal for us. Success is
the result of that repetition. So we need to be careful
with what we continue to repeat in action and in our thoughts.
Paul J. Meyer has stated "Your self-image is the result of all you have given
your subconscious mind as a database, so regardless
of your background, what you are willing to become
is the only reality that counts."
The dictionary describes willing as "consent or readiness
to do something."
So if we feed our subconscious mind with what we want
to accomplish and become and are willing to put in the
action we will be successful.
Earl Nightingale has said "The more intensely we feel about
an idea or a goal, the more assuredly the idea, buried deep
in our subconscious, will direct us along the path to its fulfillment."
