Chapter 11-The Mystery of Sex Transmutation

I am truly blessed, the husband for 51 years to Connie, the love and
inspiration of my life.  The father of two sons brought me tremendous
joy and an understanding of building a loving trust.  The granddad of 8
grandkids who have taught me the meaning of being energetic and 
seeing imagination at work.

I have memories of being on the playground or at the pool watching the kids
running, jumping, screaming, and laughing with an energy that just keeps on 
going, They could have warned out the Ever-Ready bunny.

You probably have seen the same scene with your kids. How many times have you
heard some parent, grandparent, or adult say, “If we could bottle that energy,
we could make a fortune!”  Will according to Napoleon Hill has been
in the mystery of sex transmutation.

Listen to Hill's words: “Sex transmutation is simple and easily explained.
It means the switching of the mind from thoughts of physical expression to
thoughts of some other nature.

The transmutation of sex energy calls for the exercise of willpower, to
be sure, but the reward is worth the effort. The desire for sexual
expression is inborn and natural. The desire cannot and should not be
submerged or eliminated. But it should be given an outlet through forms
of expression that enrich the body, mind, and spirit of man. If not
given this form of outlet, through transmutation, it will seek outlets
through purely physical channels.

Transmutation of sex energy calls for more willpower than the average
person cares to use for this purpose. Those who find it difficult to
summon willpower sufficient for transmutation may gradually acquire
this ability. Though this requires willpower, the reward for the
practice is more than worth the effort. The entire subject of sex is
one with which the majority of people appear to be unpardonably
ignorant.

We have been given bottles full of energy or emotions. Among them are
the energy or emotion bottles of sex and love. These are God-given for
the preservation of mankind, maintaining health, and moving mankind
from just ordinary to genius. It is the mixing of the emotion of sex
with the emotion of love that sanity, balance, and reason will bring our
actions.
