Hill states that “all sense impressions which are perceived through the five senses, are stopped by the CONSCIOUS thinking mind, and may be either passed on to the subconscious mind, or rejected, at will. The conscious faculty serves, therefore, as an outer-guard to the approach of the subconscious.”

Because man has ABSOLUTE CONTROL over the material that goes into his/her subconscious mind, there is a tremendous responsibility for all men (& women) to protect themselves
I particularly remember in Junior High learning about the concept of a double antandra, which is saying one thing which has one meaning to the masses, but a very different meaning to those who know its varied meaning as something totally different and usually something very different and off color. That was when I recognized how some people were thinking and it was very uncomfortable. A person with the absolute control over his/her mind would just avoid those using such entendres.
Also, as Michael points out that the news is often slanted in one direction or another and tells the same stories as others with a totally different meaning than what people looking at the situations perceive. For a while it was really difficult for me to recognize what they had seen compared to what I had seen.
Isaiah said, “Wo unto them that call evil good and good evil.” Isiah 5:20. It is astonishing to me as I have clients and as we visit about current events, they have totally different opinions of what is good and what is evil. From this, I can tell what news they have been listening to.
The choice is ours as to what we allow into our minds. It is a huge responsibility. Thanks to Linda and Michael for helping me to become a more critical thinker I feel very blessed to be here with those who consciously consider the things that you allow into your minds.
