Chapter 20 Desire
“Every human being who reaches the age of understanding of
the purpose of money- wishes for it. Wishing will not bring
riches. But desiring riches with a state of mind that becomes
an obsession, then planning definite ways and means to acquire
riches, and backing those plans with persistence which does
not recognize failure, will bring riches.” Napoleon Hill
If all it took to become rich by wishing the line would be long
at every wishing well and still there would be those upset
because they were not first in line. Not one person has every
because wealthy by wishing except in the fairy tales. Riches and
wealth have only been obtained by desire, planning, persistence,
and total focus. This is referred to as “money consciousness”
meaning that the mind has become so thoroughly saturated with
the desire for money, that one can see oneself already in possession
of it.
Edwin Barnes saw his position and its wealth before he ever got on
that train. Henry Ford saw his single-block V8 well before his
engineers. Napoleon Hill saw the day his son would be able to hear
on the day he has born. So must we see our wealth being showered
upon us will before our banker knows it?
My answer to God is YES! Yes, I am an heir to His abundant, and I
will share and give it to others. “Give, and it will be given to
you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running
over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use,
it will be measured to you." (Like 6:38)
The desire for riches cannot be achieved from the perspective of
greed, selfishness, power, and self-centeredness, Real riches flow
from a heart of gratitude, generosity, joy, and serenity. The kind
riches that can be seen in those who readily give of themselves, freely
shares their wisdom, and praises others for their successes even after
they have passed themselves,
The most successful people is network marketings are those who have
helped others to have whatever they desire whether it be big or small and
anyway in between. There has never been any networker or entrepreneur
who reached a position without the support of a group or team working with
them. Even the Lone Ranger had his Tonto.
“Teamwork is so important that it is virtually impossible for you to
reach the heights of your capabilities or make the money that you want
without becoming very good at it.” — Brian Tracy
Thank you, Linda and Michael Dlouhy for creating Mentoring for Free from
your desire to give back to others from the abundance that others had
given you. I am grateful to be a part of this mastermind of givers and
builders of desire.
