Chapter 8 decisions

 

Decisions are made easily when we are confident in our chosen path. With a clear path established the opinions of others have no effect on our focus.

The majority of people who fail to accumulate money sufficient for their needs, are, generally, easily influenced by the “opinions” of others. They permit the newspapers and the “gossiping” neighbors to do their “thinking” for them. Hill

Decisions I've made under the direction of other influences have proved to be with great regret. We need to listen to our inner selves and make our own decisions. I've had horrible anxiety attacks from listening to others opinions and someone trying to force me make a decision that I wasn't in agreement with. 

Procrastination will drive us further away from achieving our goals.  I see procrastination as an obstacle, distracting us from moving forward. It just prolongs the journey and if you let it, it can change or ruin the desired outcome.

With the help of this matter mind group and being on these calls every week I've become more mindful of my decisions. I've become clearer in my thinking and have a much better outlook on my future. I can see my life improving as I become more assertive and confident from practicing and applying the principles in this book.
