CHAPTER 8 DECISION: THE MASTERY OF PROCRASTINATION

The Seventh Step toward Riches

We can all relate to this chapter. We are all guilty of procrastination. Hill
says, "It is a common enemy which every man must conquer."

Everybody knows and everybody says, the better we utilize our time doing
meaningful things, the less we procrastinate. The more meaningful tasks we
complete, but do we do that consistently?

For example, it is my job to either wash the dishes and pots and pans after
lunch or put them in the dish washer. I often have about 5 minutes before the
afternoon 1 PM MT call. Instead of getting on the call and waiting the 5 minutes
for the call to start, I usually wash and dry them and get on the call at the
top of the hour. Check, another task done.

Another example is mowing the grass. It takes about 45 minutes, start to finish.
I may have 15 to 20 minutes between scheduled client calls. So I do what I can
during that break. The next break I do what I can, maybe finishing the mowing.
Check, another task done.

Instead of doing some meaningless task and saying, "I'm very busy", everyone
knows and everyone says how good it feels having checked of a meaningful task
from our "To Do" list.

Michael and Linda sets the example for us. They utilizes their time very
effectively. There are many example, but one is when He and Linda sit down and
talk through a situation or topic of interest. They communicate. Other topics
often involve other members of their family.

These are examples of effective use of time, our most valuable asset. How are we
using that asset?

I thank Michael and Linda for this incredible NWM/LIFE training we have here
today. MFF is changing people's lives in a very positive way. The master mind
members who come here consistently and post lessons and speak up are enjoying
this change in their personal and business lives. I thank the two of them,
because this was exactly what I was looking for; a master mind group. I got 9 of
them weekly.

I thank the members of those 9 weekly calls because each one makes up the master
mind group. Without them, MFF would not be the success it is today. Thank you to
each one of you. You are appreciated for your inputs and help.

PS: I also thank each of you who have downloaded my ebook and allowed me to
communicate with you on a regular basis. Hill says, we need two or more for a
master mind group. Each one of us form a master mind group when we talk. I
appreciate each one of you and I will believe in you until you believe in
yourself.

Thanks to all of you for helping me along my journey. We are all on this journey
of life at different road markers, helping each other.
