Chapter 13 – The Brain & The Heart Brain

“The subconscious mind is the “sending station” of the brain, through which vibrations of thought are broadcast. The Creative
Imagination is the “receiving set,” through which the vibrations of thought are picked up from the ether.” Napoleon Hill

Since the publication of Think and Grow Rich, additional research across multiple disciplines has occurred in relation to the
power of the brain as a sending and receiving organ.  During the 1980s, it was discovered that a set of neurocircuits in the
brain has an identical set in the human heart.  In 1991 the Heartmath Institute was created to continue to study this
relationship between the heart and the brain.  The book Where God Lives in the Human Brain was published in 2001 by
Carol Rausch Albright and James B. Ashbrook.  Through modern science, pet scans, MRIs, and other methods the
verification of the relationship between the human brain and the human heart was validated.

Part of their research included examining the heart and brain while test subjects were in deep meditative states and in prayer.
The findings were that both of these neurocircuits of the brain and heart showed up as bright red on the scans while in these
deep states of conscious thought and meditation. The subjects were people of faith and atheists that practiced meditation.
Thus, proving that Mr. Hill was on the right track when stating that the power of the deep emotional states of sex transmutation
can bring about a creative power to the human experience like no other.

I discovered all of this research during my undergraduate studies at the now-closed College of New Rochelle in 2000. 
While studying the psychology of addiction and the 12 Step practices, I needed to know more about the aspects of spiritual
conversion and tapping into the “God-spot” of the brain for total restoration and recovery from addictive and compulsive behaviors.
Mr. Hill states over and over whatever the human mind can conceive, it can accomplish. Part of my research found a group of
children that were born addicted to crack cocaine.

The social worker who did the research was able to follow 12 children for the years they were in the foster care system.
(I don’t have the documentation of the book she published.) Of all the children that were loved and cared for, only one
was not able to overcome the addiction behaviors and create a bond of love with the foster parents. She was shuttled
from one family to the next until she aged out of the system. All the others were able to overcome and create wonderful
lives with their foster and adoptive families.

Accessing the ether, or Divine Intelligence better known as God, brings us to THE most powerful emotion of them all, LOVE.
It is this powerful positive emotion, when accessed leads a person to be the most creative aspects of one’s existence. This
unconditional love of God led me to this power during my recovery process. By tapping into God’s love, I learned how to
once again love myself and my children.  This power put me on a path to discover the real Pearl and all that God had
placed in me. Starting my educational journey at 42 established some great absolutes for me to believe in and hold onto
for the rest of my life.

1. I am loved unconditionally by God, which frees me to love others the same way.
2. I am completely delivered from the addictive/compulsive behaviors of my past.
3. God has given me the ability to learn and remake myself over and over as many times as necessary.
4. I am capable of helping others to discover this same power. Be not afraid only believe.
5. I know that God has given me an abundant life. As I continue to learn how to be a good steward of all that
   He has given me, more wealth and abundance will be released into my life.
6. I know that I can share that abundance with others for the good of humanity.
7. At 65, I’m not even at the halfway point of my requested 140 years, like Job. I have a lot more work to do!

the power of this group to keep my feet on the path to building the wealth necessary to accomplish my purpose and leave a
legacy to my future generations!
