Chapter 12 -The Subconscious Mind

I recognized that until a few months ago I was concentrating
on my desire more than appreciating where I was.  It’s not that
I totally ignored the present but seemed to think more on where
I wanted to be.

I think sometimes we concentrate so much on
our business goals and all the things we need to be doing to make
our business successful we neglect the little joys in life and forget
to enjoy to the full all the blessings we have in our lives.

We can train our subconscious mind with anything we want
and sometimes I think we just take it too far in one direction
and by doing so we miss the wonderful parts of our everyday life.

The bible says “I have come that they may have life and that they
may have it more abundantly.”

Having abundance does not mean success only in our business.  Having
abundance is appreciation and gratitude for all the aspects of our lives and
recognizing the blessings we have.

We watched a good friend take his last breath this past Saturday.  A
wonderful man and being a yellow personality would to anything for
anyone.  His “now’s” in this life are all spent.  The only thing we have
left of this person is the remembrance of the relationship we had
with him.

Learning to use our subconscious mind is not just getting rid of the
negatives and replacing them with the positives but teaching
ourselves to live in the “Now” in all areas of our lives with appreciation,
love and joy and passing it on to others.
