When I make a decision, am I willing to stand behind it, if not, why not. When I have answered this question, I will know if I have made a decision or just another thought. The chapter goes on to state that when one is truly ready for a thing, it put in it's appearence, another way of saying this is "say what you mean and mean what you say. (evaluate your self talk). There are known principles that can turn thoughts into things, turn intangibles into tangibles. Our thoughts or desires can literally change our life, our actions, if proper;y acted upon, othrewise it's just another thought, another desire, or another wish. Hill points oun in this chapter when we have a thought for something, whether it pop into our head, is given to us by someone else, or the result of an experence in our life, that a thought or that desire can literlly change our lives.
'The greatest asset we can acquire is the definite knowledge that an intangible impulse of a desire can be transmuted into material rewards by the application of known pricilples'. Napoleon Hill
We can literlly think ourselves into the life, the occupations, the relationships and financials positions we desire. Our goals can be realized, if we truly realize they are often just on the other side of temporary defeat.
This wes realized by the little girl who needed fifty cent, Ford who wanted a V-8 engine and Mr Darby who would not stop when the customer said No. Their success came just one step beyond that point.
