This chapter on fear is a very long chapter and for good reason. Because everything in there is there is relavant and for a reason. It's very well thought out as Hill”s whole book is.
However if I had to condense the chapter into two sentences they would be from Michael’s lesson. Michael says “When You live a life being "POSITIVE" fear can NEVER EVER consume Your thoughts again.
This is called living Your life in the NOW. There is NEVER fear in the NOW.”
And that makes perfect sense because if you are living in the past in any way, nine times out of ten, your will probably have regrets about how you lived it and dwell on the mistakes you have made instead of the positive aspects. And if you are constantly thinking about what's going to happen in the future that's also going to create a lot of fear of the unknown and most likely negativity.
My prayer lately has become God please help me focus only on today and the events associated with this day, I can’t do anything about the past because it’s already gone by and tomorrow isn’t a factor because it isn’t here yet. Neither of those instances are good because they rob you of living in the now.
