CHAPTER 12-The Subconscious Mind
The Connecting Link

“The subconscious mind works day and night.” Napoleon Hill

Hills states, “… it is sufficient if you remember that you
are living daily, in the midst of all manner of thought
impulses which are reaching your subconscious mind, without
your knowledge. Some of these impulses are negative, some
are positive. You are now engaged in trying to help shut
off the flow of negative impulses, and to aid in voluntarily
influencing your subconscious mind, through positive impulses
of desire.”

As I sit at my computer with each keystroke I placed a letter
into the memory of the computer file. When letters are combined
words are formed and with many words comes a sentence, then a
paragraph. Inside of the memory of any computer is store the
data input to be recalled and used some later time.

Such in the conscious and subconscious mind. The keys are like
the conscious mind allowing or dismissing a thought, idea, or
hunch into the subconscious mind. The data files are like the
subconscious mind that stores all the thoughts, ideas, and
hunches passed into it to be recalled at the right time.

To understand the difference between a conscious and subconscious
Mind here are 4 comparative definitions.

The conscious mind is the part of the mind which is fully aware,
and the subconscious mind is a part that is not incomplete
awareness.

The information the conscious mind hold is easily accessible but
accessing information stored in the subconscious mind requires a
little more effort.

The conscious mind is related to actions that are controllable
and the subconscious mind is related to actions more or less
“ingrained”.

The conscious mind is responsible for logic and reasoning but
the subconscious mind along with the unconscious mind is
responsible for a person’s emotions, characteristics, attitudes,
desires, etc.

I choose to follow the path to success in network marketing by
being a quitter. I have decided to quit feeding my subconscious
mind to the old failures of the past. I will no longer listen
to the messages such as “Go for No’s” or “This is a numbers game”
or “Recruit, Recruit, Recruit.” I now know it all about the
relationships I build.  I have quit being disappointed with the
face in the mirror but start loving the person I am and have become.
I quit pointing the finger of blame at others and be fully accountable.
I will tell my subconscious mind, “I am 10 feet tall and bulletproof.”

Many thanks to Linda and Michael Dlouhy for revealing that I can
change in the recording of the past and refill the subconscious with
desire, faith, love, and more. I deeply appreciate everyone who is
part of this mastermind for the gift you bring to the table every week.
