There's an old saying, and yet, so powerful that words cannot even explain it. "Man can create anything which one can imagine." Repeat that again, "Man can create anything which one can imagine." That is such an unbelievable saying, especially when you go back and think about everything created on Earth. For instance, let's take one of the all time classic amusement parks that is built on imagination, Disney World.
I remember when I was just a little 10 year old boy that was going to Disney World with my family. I was so excited because I was going to be able to see all my favorite Disney characters, especially Goofy and Pluto. I remember getting a hat with hanging ears just like Goofy, and I still have that hat to this day. When I was told that we were going to Disney World, my mind was racing with so many thoughts and my imagination was filled with endless scenarios. I must have asked my parents the famous kid line, "Are we there yet?" about 100 times. I bet that I drove my parents and grandparents insane because that is all I could think and talk about.
Just as my imagination was going crazy and rapidly firing off all the creative scenarios, the same was true for the creator of Disney World, Walt Disney. See, Walt Disney used his creative imagination. He took something that nobody has ever thought about, and made it real. He saw how this was going to impact many children's lives, just like Thomas Edison saw the light bulb effecting history.
The biggest takeaway for me from this chapter is that you have to use your creative imagination and see things that no one else sees for you in your future. The same applies for us in network marketing. Others are more than likely going to think that we are crazy for going after such a dream. However, that is their limited imagination that is speaking. You will know when you truly use your creative imagination because you will be filled with so much energy and desire. It is unlike any other feeling you ever had before. And the best part is, you feel unstoppable at that point.
P.S. “If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember that this whole thing was started by a mouse.” - Walt Disney
