THOUGHTS ARE THINGS AND POWERFUL THINGS, AT THAT.

 

"There is a difference between WISHING for a thing and being READY to

The state of mind must be BELIEF, not mere hope or wish. Open- mindedness

When Hill was talking about the challenges of teaching his deaf son, who had no

ears, to talk, he said, “DESIRE backed by FAITH, pushed reason aside, and

inspired me to carry on.”

 

The key to understanding this chapter and every other chapter in this book is the

first sentence in this post.  “THOUGHTS ARE THINGS AND POWERFUL THINGS

AT THAT.”  The power comes in the effect the thoughts have on the subconscious

mind.  They can have a positive effect or a negative effect.  Which one is up to us. 

We control what gets into the subconscious mind through the conscious mind.

 

I AM the GATEKEEPER of my Subconscious Mind.  It is My Responsibility and Mine Alone.
