You will hear a stand out quarterback for a football team being interviewed about his success say I couldn’t have done it without my teammates. And that’s so true.. without that offensive line up front blocking and protecting him, he’s toast. Football is a team effort, a mastermind in pads if you will. A couple of games ago we lost our star center to a bad knee injury for the rest of the season and the national championship. He was the anchor of that offensive line getting into the heads of our opponents. It was something else to see the whole team run out onto the field to the cart that they loaded him on wishing him well. Everyone on the team loved him, he was key in the team mastermind. He can’t physically contribute now but his presence on the sideline cheering them on is monumental. And that’s what we do, cheer each other on, on all of our successes, and comfort one another as we incur illness, lose people we love or many other issues. We are a family!
I’m reminded of two other examples, one of the individual string which can be easily broken by itself but when woven together with even just two more strands can become unbreakable. And being a truck driver for so long seeing the cranking power of all those batteries hooked together in unison. Such a strong visual of the mastermind for me…
Thank you Linda and Michael Dlouhy for this mastermind that is everything. I really feel sorry for the one’s who embrace MFF but neglect this part for it is the most important of all. Thanks to all my mastermind partners, the FAMILY!
P.S. And Mike Simon, the number is 17, 18 after next Monday night …RTR
