Chapter 1,
Thoughts Are Things!
From the book,
Think And Grow Rich!
The Greatest Forces Are Intangible!
The object of this book is to help all who seek it, to learn the
Art of changing their minds from failure conscious to
Success Conscious.
Another weakness found in altogether too many people, is the
Habit of measuring everything , and everyone, by their own
Impressions and beliefs. Some who will read this, will believe
That no one can Think And Grow Rich. They cannot think in terms
Of riches, because their thought habits have been steeped in
Poverty, want, misery, failure and defeat. (Napoleon Hill)
When I was growing up I can’t remember putting a lot of thought
Into, where do thoughts come from? I can remember when I
Made up my mind to ride a bicycle, I took physical action, I fell
Off over and over again until I became successful. It was the
Same way when it came to learning how to roller skate, I stayed
With it until I made it happen, with physical action.
I did not have to count on anybody except me.
In the late 1960s a man by the name Pete Maravich became a
Great basketball player at LSU, their was nothing he could not
Do with a basketball. He went on to play basketball at the
Pro level in the NBA, his whole life was basketball. When it
Came time for him to retire, he had a really hard time adjusting
To life after basketball, most of his Thoughts all his life were
Focused on basketball and what he could do physically.
He did not know who he was, when it came to the other areas
Of his life.
What I have learned sense joining Think And Grow Rich Lessons.
There is the intangible you, your Thoughts, and the physical you.
Am I a positive thinking person, or a get by negative thinking
Person? If I want to become a more positive thinking person,
I need help, I can not do that by myself. If we want great things
To happen in our community our neighborhoods our business, I
Have learned we can not do that by our self, we need help.
We have to be come a team player. (it’s Not all about me)
Thanks to my Master Mind Friends for helping me with the
Intangibles!
