Take Inventory of Yourself, As You Read This Closing Chapter, and Find Out How Many of the “Ghosts” Are Standing in Your Way.
INDECISION is the seedling of FEAR! Remember this, as you read. Indecision crystalizes into DOUBT, the two blend and become FEAR!
The “blending” process often is slow. This is one reason why these three enemies are so dangerous.
They germinate and grow without their presence being observed.
Do not be deceived by the habits of these subtle enemies. Sometimes they remain hidden in the subconscious mind,
where they are difficult to locate, and still more difficult to eliminate.
Fear of poverty is a state of mind, nothing else! But it is sufficient to destroy one’s chances of achievement in
any undertaking, a truth which became painfully evident during the depression. -Hill
Don't be afraid to fail. In fact, failures often lead to success. Take inspiration from both famous failures and
and lesser known failures. All failures followed by perseverance, a definite purpose, and a burning desire often
lead to enormous success.
Jack Canfield was rejected 144 times before he found a publisher for his book, Chicken Soup for the Soul. When Jack
told the publisher he wanted to sell 1.5 million books in the first 18 months, the publisher laughed and said he'd be lucky
to sell 20,000. That first book sold more than 8 million copies in America and 10 million copies around the world.
Canfield's book brand is now a $1 Billion brand.
Canfield's advice: "So the reality is that you just have to say, I'm more committed to my vision than I'm committed
to your doubt or my fear, and just go for it...
