Think and Grow Rich – Chapter 10

Power of the Master Mind, the Driving Force

Hill starts by saying, ”Power may be defined as ‘organized and intelligently directed KNOWLEDGE.’”  As Hill tells us the 3 sources of knowledge, let’s apply them to our Network Marketing Businesses.

  1.  Infinite Intelligence:   This part of our business may be the hunch that drove us to join our business in the first place.  The universe may have placed us in the right place at the right time for us to talk to the person who became our sponsor.  For some, it may have been the very first Network Marketing business ever presented.  For many, like me, it may have been a business you finally began after years of frustration.

Either way, when presented it, that little voice within us all lit up confirming that this could bring us a better life and we jumped in.

  1.  Accumulated Experience:  Since we were born, we have accumulated great knowledge through each experience we have encountered.  As we were curious about anything, there were lessons available through school, books and now the internet to train us in that area.  Coming to Network marketing, we bring all of that with us.  As we started our businesses, our company’s offer organized training in writing and on videos and lectures that teach us how to build.  This is to specific knowledge we need to build our business.

  1.  Experiment and Research:  This method of comes after we have a little knowledge about what we are doing to succeed in our businesses.  We meet other people in our companies.  People who have risen to the higher levels of income and experience, perhaps and even some of those just starting with us who have different ideas of building the business.  As wee pool our collective knowledge and add the hunches of our brilliance with each other, new plans emerge.  Plans neither of us would have created without each other.  These “plans” can create power greater than we might have developed ourselves.

Hill says, “Man’s brain may be compared to an electric battery. It absorbs energy from the ether, which permeates every atom of matter, and fills the entire universe.”

“The brain functions in a similar fashion. This accounts for the fact that some brains are more efficient than others, and leads to this significant statement—a group of brains coordinated (or connected) in a spirit of harmony, will provide more thought-energy than a single brain, just as a group of electric batteries will provide more energy than a single battery.”

“When a group of individual brains are coordinated and function in Harmony, the increased energy created through that alliance, becomes available to every individual brain in the group.”

This group, with people working together in harmony, becomes a Master Mind group where all members inspire one another and every member builds to a higher level.  The entire group rises through the shared knowledge of the others.

Just recently, I watched a video from a high ranking person in my company and physically felt that flow of knowledge filling me with additional plans of my own.  I could see myself training a new distributer in a totally different way than I have done before….and it was so comfortable.

Michael and Linda, I am so grateful for your insight to create this Think and Grow Rich Master Mind group.  Grateful for the careful watch you keep over it to insure that it runs with harmony.  Thanks also for encouraging us to share our brilliance.  Thanks to those who attend and to those who share thoughts in discussion or lessons.
