“Persistence is an essential factor in the procedure of
transmuting DESIRE into its monetary equivalent. The
basis of persistence is the POWER OF WILL.”
Napoleon Hill

The test anyone must take and pass to meet and fulfill any
of their desires for success in life, marriage, parenting,
business and wealth cumulation is “I will be persistent no
matter what it takes.”

The lack of persistence is one of the major causes of failure.
Thousands of people tested have proven that lack of persistence
is a weakness common to the majority of men. The assurance is
that this weakness may be overcome by effort. The ease with
which a lack of persistence may be conquered will depend entirely
upon the strength and burning of a person’s desire.

The challenges I have are in Hill’s call to persistence, as

First- “If you are following this book with the intention of
applying the knowledge it conveys, your first test as to your
PERSISTENCE will come when you begin to follow the six steps
described in the second chapter. Unless you are one of the
two out of every hundred who already have a DEFINITE GOAL at
which you are aiming, and a DEFINITE PLAN for its attainment,
you may read the instructions, and then pass on with your
daily routine, and never comply with those instructions”

Secondly, I choose to be persistent by surround yourself with
a “mastermind” group, and through the cooperative efforts of
the members of this group, you can develop persistence. In
Mentoring for Free, I have found a mastermind of caring,
thoughtful, committed and active leaders ready to encourage,
support and give nudges when necessary.

Thirdly, Remember, with persistence will come success. Like Hill
said, “
If you select your “Master Mind” group with care, you will
have in it, at least one person who will aid you in the development
of persistence. I will be forever grateful not to one mentor, but
many who mentor to me on every weekly call. To have a personal
mentor such as Bob Shoaf who has become more like a brother. Or,
to be on the calls with the such as Michael Dlouhy, Ken Klemm,
Tuula Rands, and others with their years of experience and wisdom
shared openly and freely.

by any other quality! Remember this, and it will hearten you, in
the beginning, when the going may seem difficult and slow. Those
who have cultivated the HABIT of persistence seem to enjoy insurance
against failure. No matter how many times they are defeated, they
finally arrive up toward the top of the ladder.” Napoleon Hill

Thank you, Thank you, Thank You to Linda and Michael Dlouhy, Bob Shoaf,
Ken Klemm, and my fellow partners at Mentoring for Free your persistence
brought you here and your persistence keeps brings you back. My special
thanks to everyone who received, read and now follow the principles in
‚Äč“Success in 10 Steps” and communicates with me weekly.

Nathan Grimes.
