The Sixth Step toward Riches

Hill says, “The day of the “go-getter” has passed. He has been supplanted by the “gogiver.”” He also says, “in the future, business will be conducted by methods that will require no pressure.”

I wonder if Hill was thinking of Mentoring For Free. Here, we stress pull through marketing, rather than the push marketing most people are trained to do.

Hill says, “money is worth no more than brains.” Another way of putting it is, we will not be paid what we want. We will be paid what we deserve.

Competent “brains” are required if one is to accumulate money. They can’t be stolen or spent.

Hill gives us 31 major causes of failure. How many of these are holding You back?

Of the major causes of failure, Hill says PROCRASTINATION and NEGATIVE PERSONALITY are leading causes of failure, but all 31 contribute.

If we desire success, Hill suggests we take inventory of ourselves annually. He gives 28 questions to ask ourselves. We should adjust our plan accordingly.

We have told the Universe why we chose success. We further refine it with Chapter 2, DESIRE. Then we say our self-talk hundreds of times with as much emotion as possible. The more effective our self-talk, the more effective the “hunches.” These “hunches” are leading us toward our stated goal.

Once the Universe feels we have had enough training in the skills taught, the “hunches” may become larger and larger, leading us more effectively. I know this to be true from my own experiences.
