Specialized Knowledge is putting into action what your mentor taught you and getting better at it. Which means you must put it into a plan of action with an END goal in mind. Then accomplish what's necessary and teach it to others.
The MORE you DUPLICATE it the better you get at it.
Remember you always have to keep up with the changes and embrace them. When there is a new skill to be learned and something is required. You JUST DO IT ALL and more importantly USE it and get RESULTS.
RESULTS are the only thing that matters in the end. If you have NO results you are NOT a leader.
Think about when they had baseball cards. I remember analyzing a player with my friend back in childhood, it was a relief pitcher. My friend mentioned "He has no saves." NOT a leader.
Why do coaches let some players play most of the basketball game and others only two minutes. SKILLS. They scored the go ahead point and the winning shot. They got the assists. They did whatever it took to win.
Are YOU all in or are you just a follower? Leaders became leaders because they followed their mentor most precisely. They did NOT change the recepie. They followed it like they prepared their favorite dish and it tasted delicious and nutritious!
