CHAPTER 8 DECISION: THE MASTERY OF PROCRASTINATION

The Seventh Step toward Riches

Analysis of several hundred people who had accumulated fortunes well beyond the million dollar mark, disclosed the fact that every one of them had the habit of REACHING DECISIONS PROMPTLY, and of changing these decisions SLOWLY, if, and when they were changed. People who fail to accumulate money, without exception, have the habit of reaching decisions, IF AT ALL, very slowly, and of changing these decisions quickly and often.

I have verified that statement by Hill many times. It seems there is something I am putting off, that could be done today.

Since getting home from the United Kingdom, I have completed most of the activities needed to get caught up, with the exception of two, major ones. They will take a few weeks to complete.

I can relate to close friends and relatives giving opinions, but they do not destroy my confidence. As Michael has related in a story he has told when he and friends were eating out. There were people in a booth next to them that were very negative. He was able to tune them out. I have learned to do that too.

It can be a negative comment posted on one of my social media posts. It could be somebody in Mentoring For Free. I tune them out.

I have gotten enough hunches from my spiritual leader to have confidence in the hunches I receive from them, that are far more important to me than other people's comments.

I like Hill's statement:

"TELL THE WORLD WHAT YOU INTEND TO DO, BUT FIRST SHOW IT."

Michael doesn't expect anyone to do something he doesn't do. I feel the same way. I must show that I can do an activity, before expecting others to do it.

I am honored and humbled to be a part of those who post lessons regularly here. They are the ones who made the choice to do whatever it takes. They are the 1% who have downloaded Success In 10 Steps and will not quit.

I am grateful to Linda and Michael Dlouhy for creating a system that is a duplicatable, team system. There is nothing that can compare on the Internet. Thank You, thank You, thank You Linda and Michael Dlouhy.

I am grateful to that 1% who make up the 8 weekly calls to form a harmonious mastermind group. Thank You, thank You, thank You to each one of You. We are helping each other become more successful.
