Chapter 7 - Organized Planning
I believe everyone plans things, whether it is a meeting
to go visit a friend, go on holiday, shopping, or building
The dictionary describes organize as "to form into a coherent
unity or functioning whole."
So when we make the above plans do we have a way of organizing
how we will execute the plans or do we just think about them
in our head and do it as it comes to our mind. That may work when
we go shopping but do we at the same time forget to get some of
the things we had wanted to purchase?
Would we be able to build a business by just thinking about our
business and only doing something when it just comes into our mind?
To build a business we need a plan that is written down. We need
to know what we want to accomplish and how we are going to make
it happen, what actions are we going to take daily.
Jim Rohn said "If you go to work on your goals, your goals will go to work on you.
If you go to work on your plan, your plan will go to work on you.
Whatever good things we build end up building us."
And W. Clement Stone said "No matter how carefully you plan your
goals they will never be more than pipe dreams unless you pursue them with gusto"
