The Subconscious Mind

The connecting Link

The Eleventh Step Toward Riches

This chapter reminds me of my vegetable garden. I plant good seeds and care for it, weed the garden, cultivate,
fertilize and water it. All good positive things. The minute I forget about taking care of it, the weeds grow, the plants are scruby, and there are no vegetables. All the negatives enter in.

The subconscious mind consists of a field of consciousness, in which every impulse of thought that reaches the conscious
mind through any of the five senses is classified and recorded.

The subconscious mind will not remain idle. If you fail to plant desires in your subconscious mind, it will feed upon the thoughts that reach it as the result upon your neglect. Just as the garden that is neglected will produce negative results

The same results  if we don't constantly feed our subconscious with the Seven Major Positive Emotions.

the emotion of desire
the emotion of faith
the emotion of love
the emotion of sex
the emotion of enthusiasm
the emotion of romance
the emotion of hope

Positive and negative emotions can not occupy the mind at the same time. One or the other must dominate. It is your responsibility to make sure that the positive emotions are the dominating influence of your mind.

The best way to do this is to make a habit of applying and using positive emotions! Eventually they will dominate your mind so completely that the negatives can not enter it.

I am so thankful for this training starting with the "Success In 10 Steps" book and weekly training that I have the opportunity to attend 8 times per week.
