Persistence is a firm or obstinate continuance in a course of
action in spite of difficulty or opposition, .and the continued
or prolonged existence of something.

A majority of people will readily toss their aims and purposes
aside and give up at the first sign of opposition or misfortune.
A few will carry on despite all opposition until they attain their
goal. This is the very essence of persistence.

As Albert Einstein said, “It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just
that I stay with problems longer.”

I wear no superhero suit, no secret power but choose to move forward
with the reinforcement as a man-of-steeled with persistence. I choose the
path toward building a fortune through the application of the 13
principles as listed in Think and Grow Rich.

In the last chapter, we focused on the danger of procrastination which
by its very nature leads to the lack of fulfillment and emptiness of
any success in life. We now come to the counter punch which can defeat
this enemy to success: persistence. As Hill wrote, “THERE IS NO
SUBSTITUTE FOR PERSISTENCE! It cannot be supplanted by any other quality!
Remember this, and it will hearten you, in the beginning, when the going
may seem difficult and slow. Those who have cultivated the HABIT of
persistence seem to enjoy insurance against failure. No matter how many
times they are defeated, they finally arrive up toward the top of the

I now realize my success in Network Marketing is dependent on me being
persistent. Persistently doing the activities to build relationships,
to attract anyone and anything I desire, to passing the wisdom found
in Success in 10 Steps to just one more person and give of myself to
everyone asking for a mentor and are coachable.  

Thank you, thank you, thank you Linda and Michael Dlouhy for it was
through your persistence’s this platform was created and is still going
today. Bob Shoaf, I appreciate your persistent support and encouragement
given to me. To my fellow partners at Mentoring for Free and Think and
