Well I will have to say that what I was going to write was close to what Tuula wrote and I didn’t want to plagiarize her in any way so I will just congratulate her once again for a top notch lesson. I will however comment on the last Napoleon Hill quote that she did “Through the aid of the sixth sense, you will be warned of impending dangers in time to avoid them, and notified of opportunities in time to embrace them.
Three years ago this summer I was faced with both a danger and an opportunity. The danger of losing my dream of a career in MLM and an opportunity to join hands with a system created by a millionaire husband and wife with hearts of gold that changed my life! I had just been a part of two new startups that were supposed to be the next best thing since sliced bread. They weren’t. Start ups have many problems to overcome and many never make it. I learned that that ground floor stuff for the birds. I told my wife if I didn’t find a professional way to do this I was done with it. If you are new to the program you have heard the phrase this e-book will save you years of failure and frustration and it resonated. I had that failure and frustration and certainly wish I had found the book years before but better late than never.
I think there are benefits to having failure and frustration because without having suffered them you cannot truly appreciate how good it is to find this program. When I find a new client that has only been in the industry for a few months I think to myself how lucky they are to have found this and not experienced the failure and frustration but sometimes when they don’t see the value I know that’s why they didn’t stick with it.
Aside from that one example I can probably write a whole book on all the times that my sixth sense has saved me and I know that many others have experienced the same. I ponder what Hill says about not having these experiences until well after the age of fifty I have an idea of why that is and I think it’s the fact that you develop an awareness. If you don’t develop one you won’t be around on this earth too long. I have a friend with a young son in his 20s that works in Chicago and has been mugged twice while being into his cell phone and not aware of his surroundings. When I'm in those kind of situations my eyes are moving back and forth like I'm merging onto a busy freeway with one finger close to the trigger. Without that awareness I don’t think you can be sensitive to receive those hunches and warnings.
