Chapter 13 The Brain: A BROADCASTING AND RECEIVING STATION FOR THOUGHT
It’s amazing that you can tell two people the exact same thing, one will turn the information into a million dollar idea, and the other does nothing with the information. I recently spoke with two people that stated they wanted to become entrepreneurs. The first stated that she doesn’t know what she wants to do, but she likes the idea of passive income. We exchanged a few ideas and she said that she’d look further into them. The second person stated “that stuff never works the only way to make money is owning and running a business.” He’s planning to open a restaurant. He doesn’t trust anyone to help him operate the restaurant, so he’ll have to be there anytime the restaurant is open…he’ll soon find out that his business owns him.
Some people don’t have the mindset to explore things for themselves, and draw their own opinion. They simply take advise from someone who told them a bad story about their experience, or someone else’s experience and this will never work…“Man can alter his life by altering his thinking.” - William James
