The value of decisions depends upon the courage required to render them. The great decisions, which served as the foundation of civilization, were reached by assuming great risks, which often meant the possibility of death.

That is exactly the story of our founding fathers and an amazing story it is as well as inspirational. They made a huge decision and fear never got in the way. I have to ask myself would I have done that.

I watched a video last night about a lady doctor that was on a flight from Philadelphia to Atlanta and she said that she had been married to a Navy husband for 20 years that was now deceased and did the most uncourageous thing she could've ever done on that flight. The pilot announced that there was a soldier on the plane with his deceased companion and asked if the people would remain seated and let them off first. The lady said that she was inspired to go around to every seat and ask the passengers to sing the national anthem as the soldier stood out to get off the plane with his deceased partner.

Obviously the stewardess got word of what the lady was planning to do and came back and told her that was not allowed and against policy. She said she was shocked and really didn't know what to do at that point and was a little scared to go ahead do what she planned. Then they announced on the plane that everyone needs to be quiet while the soldiers unboarded the plane. So the anthem was not sung and she said she was embarrassed at her lack of courage. And she wondered what her deceased husband would have thought of her. She didn't stand by her decision but fear can be a crippling thing and that is what makes that first story of the founding fathers so huge. That was their LIFE. She did not say what airlines that was but I guarantee you I would never set foot on it again in my whole lifetime. Now I don't know if this video is true because so many on the Internet are not these days however it makes a valid point about fear nevertheless.

Let's say we make a decision to join a network marketing company for time freedom, because we love the business model, no employees, ability to work from home and then we get criticized by a friend or family member and then we automatically become a secret agent. All because we were worried about what some else thought of us.

Hill tells us “The majority of people who fail to accumulate money sufficient for their needs, are, generally, easily influenced by the “opinions” of others. They permit the newspapers and the “gossiping” neighbors to do their “thinking” for them. “Opinions are the cheapest commodities on earth. Everyone has a flock of opinions ready to be wished upon anyone who will accept them. If you are influenced by “opinions” when you reach DECISIONS, you will not succeed in any undertaking, much less in that of transmuting YOUR OWN DESIRE into money.

What if we decided to go out and get a McDonald's franchise instead of network marketing? If our friends or family said something about that was stupid getting into the McDonald's franchise would we run out and close the doors after spending most likely around a half million to get started? I don’t think so. We would be there round the clock until it was profitable so we wouldn’t lose our investment.

With our MLM business we have little investment at all except a dream, a plan of action and the persistence to make it happen. And the earning potential is unlimited so why are we worried about what other people think?

I made a decision myself at the first of the year about what I was going to do this year in my business, what pin level I was going to be at by the end of it and that I would do whatever it takes to make that happen. I am not all the way where I want to be with the fear of criticism but they more action steps I take towards my goal the less I care I can tell you that.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Linda and Michael Dlouhy for providing this platform because three years ago I was beat up, frustrated from failing repeatedly in this business. After learning that my lack of success in this business was not my fault and plugging into the system it is been life-changing to say the least. And thank you to all my friends and mastermind partners who share their brilliance with me each and every week. Also want to thank everyone that has downloaded the ebook and allowed me to mentor them.
