Based on the book Think and Grow Rich, Chapter 10: Power of the Mastermind.

GAINING POWER THROUGH THE ‘‘MASTER MIND”

Hill says So you may better understand the “intangible” potentialities of power available to you, through a properly chosen “Master Mind” group, we will here explain the two characteristics of the Master Mind principle, one of which is economic in nature, and the other psychic. The economic feature is obvious. Economic advantages may be created by any person who surrounds himself with the advice, counsel, and personal cooperation of a group of men who are willing to lend him wholehearted aid, in a spirit of PERFECT HARMONY. This form of cooperative alliance has been the basis of nearly every great fortune. Your understanding of this great truth may definitely determine your financial status.

The psychic phase of the Master Mind principle is much more abstract, much more difficult to comprehend, because it has reference to the spiritual forces with which the human race, as a whole, is not well acquainted. You may catch a significant suggestion from this statement: “No two minds ever come together without, thereby, creating a third, invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind.”

As We Focus

It had been years ago, that I had learned an invaluable lesson: Whatever we focus on, we become.  Just that simple statement has taught me ever a great deal. Wherever we may put our energies or our attention, those things will develop in us.  Here is another way I like to say it is, "Where the mind goes, the man follows!"

If all of a sudden I begin to think about ice cream, I will soon find myself probably in my car pursuing ice cream. Let’s just say my thoughts will more likely stir my desires and emotions, as well I will make the decision to follow them.

Now if we focus only on the negative things in our own  lives, we become negative people right.  Meaning everything, even including our conversations, becomes negative.  Before we know it soon we lose our joy as well as live miserable lives--also it all started with basically our own thinking.

We all should practice choosing our thoughts carefully. Let’s jus say we can think about what is wrong with all our own lives or about what is right with them.  Or we can think about what is wrong with all the people we are in a relationship with or we can just see the good as well as meditate on that.  What I do know as well as been brought up in a Christian home The Bible teaches us to always believe the best about ourselves.   When we happen to do just that, it makes our own lives just happier also more peaceful.
