Chapter 7 – Organized Planning
Hill writes “Courtesy” and “Service” are the watch-words of merchandising today.
If one has a personality which PLEASES, and renders service in a spirit of HARMONY,
these assets often make up for deficiencies in both the QUALITY, and the
QUANTITY of service one renders. Nothing, however, can be SUCCESSFULLY
SUBSTITUTED FOR PLEASING CONDUCT."
As Michael Dlouhy says "To make more we have to become more."
One of the areas we need to use organized planning is in our personal development.
When I joined MFF I needed a lot of personal development and
the Think & Grow Rich Lessons call is what helped me more than
anything else; but I had to learn to become a part of it. In other
words, I had to begin posting a lesson and speaking up on the calls.
I was not easy at first but it does get easier and easier.
One of the definitions of Organize is "to make plans or arrange
to set oneself into an orderly state of mind" and the Think & Grow
Rich lessons is a perfect organized plan to help us "set ourselves
into an orderly state of mind" and become the person people want
to know, like and trust.
