Hill tells us that fear is a state of mind! In a fight or flight situation it is a very good thing. Lets say we are hiking on a trail and come in contact with a grizzly bear it is a VERY good thing. But in any other situation it is a handicap.
In one of Harv Eker’s workshops he tells his students to raise their hand tomorrow and no one does. Why? Because he explains that tomorrow does not exist yet. If we let our minds spill over into the next day that is the future and the future is completely unknown to us. Only the Creator knows what is in store for us tomorrow and when we tried to go there on our own and figure it all out, that is when we are filled with anxiety, fear, worry, uncertainty and many times doubt.
To do that is a pretty natural thing for all of us because we are so programmed to do so. I find that if I have a big to-do list of things that I have to accomplish today only and I systematically check them off as I accomplish them, being only focused on the moment then I am a lot less stressed person because fear does not exist in the moment. I have full control of what I'm doing at just that time.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Linda and Michael Dlouhy for all your support love and believing in us until we can fully believe in ourselves. Thank you to all my friends and mastermind partners for sharing your brilliance each week!
