“The SIXTH SENSE is that portion of the subconscious mind which has been referred to as the Creative Imagination. It has also been referred to as the “receiving set” through which ideas, plans, and thoughts flash into the mind. The “flashes” are sometimes called “hunches” or “inspirations.”

Through the aid of the sixth sense, you will be warned of impending dangers in time to avoid them, and notified of opportunities in time to embrace them.

There comes to your aid, and to do your bidding, with the development of the sixth sense, a “guardian angel” who will open to you at all times the door to the Temple of Wisdom.” Napoleon Hill

One thing that really stuck out to me this time around in this chapter is when Hill formed the mastermind with his invisible counselors he used a heavy dose of visualization and imagination. He was familiar enough with these men that he knew the very qualities that he wanted from each of them and demanded that quality from each one as he addressed them as the chairman. Getting that focused made the experience so real eventually that it scared him and he quit for a while.

Four months ago my stepdaughter was on the way down here from Pennsylvania to come help me with her mother. Caretaking had become increasingly hard for one person (me) and I looked at the situation as hey this will be nice to have some help. After all Amy had been doing better that day. My step daughter looked at it another way as I can see now. She set out from Pennsylvania in the wee hours of the morning determined to drive straight through. I kept telling her that she shouldn't push so hard and maybe stop in Atlanta and stay with some of our friends but she just kept pushing until she finally made it here around 6 in the evening. Two hours later my beautiful wife was in the arms of the creator as we sat on each side of her holding her hands. That was a perfect example of the sixth sense working in her favor notifying her of an opportunitity to see her mother one last time in time to embrace it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Linda and Michael Dlouhy for all that you do for us and patiently waiting on us to grow into the leaders that you know we can be. And thank you to all my friends and mastermind partners for lending me you're brilliance on a weekly basis.
