Do you have a PLAN to reach your goals? If you do not this is what is necessary to hear. Everybody knows that a goal is a dream with a deadline. And to accomplish your goals you need SKILLS. Are you looking for a handout or a handup? It does not matter how you start, it matters how you finish. Look at Napoleon Hill he had interviewed 500 of the richest man at the time. Did anyone of them came from money? No they have NOT. They started out in poverty and became rich. For example Henry Ford had only a 6th Grade Education.
But he accomplished his GOALS, invented the Model T car then the Model A car. He did it with a Plan just like Napoleon Hills son Blair did it with a plan unlike his older brother who would cry and because of that get what he wanted, which is NO different than saying that everyone on the team gets a throphy no matter how good or bad they are. That is a BIG disservice for them because that way later in life if they do not have their way then they will NOT be able to deal with losing anything, be it someone who they were dating, a spouce, a job, etc. Because as Michael Dlouhy always mentions is how you do anything is how you do everything. Thats a quote from Harv Eker that Michael always mentions.
And leaders became leaders because they were intelligent followers in their chosen field. In other words they were COACHABLE. When they saw there was something to be done then they just did it. When they did not know something they asked EXPERT advice for it and they listened. And the number one cause of failure in leadership is to change plans when something is not working. Because if you keep doing what you have doing then you will be getting what you have always gotten and that is the definition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.
Another part of it this part is "Teach a man how to fish and feed him for a lifetime and give a man a fish and feed him for a day" Just like our prospects are on the Colors CD they are thinking Can I do this? And Can you teach me? That is duplication here!
Another thing that is implied in the 10 major causes of failure in leadership is what Michael Dlouhy has in the audio of "Do you want to be right or do you want to be rich?" If you are constantly correcting someone left and right then they will want to sit somewhere else on the bus.
