Napoleon Hill writes that “ General knowledge … \ is but of little use in the accumulation of money. It is specialized knowledge that will give you the realization of your goals and dream.
One of the key concepts is given in the lyrics to a Matthew West song; The motions. “What if ha acted on everything instead of going through the motions?”
Too often, we go through the motions and to prepare a plan of action. And if we do, how often do we enact that plan?
Success, no matter what the goal, requires a set goal and a plan of action that is carried out.
Knowledge is not enough. If you have the knowledge with no plan of action, it Is worthless.
You can go through college and get all of the information, but if you don’t apply it, it was a worthless venture.
The key is organization and practical application. From last week: concertation.
Education does not teach how to organize and use the knowledge they acquire. It is like filling a grocery cart with no menu plan. Just stuff on the shelves or fridge with no idea when and if you will use it.
The key to success is specialized knowledge, not general knowledge. You must be good at something, not just well educated.
The key is to improve yourself in a specific area and pursue it That means a plan of action. To apply what you have learned and to have chosen what to learn and move you forward along the path you have chosen
Failure to do so is a dead end, nowhere to go.
Education is not knowledge. You need to have a specific goal a specific knowledge and know how to market it if you want to be n a success in your chosen line of service, work product sales.
A key idea is “ An educated man is one who has developed the faculties of hi mind that he may acquire anything he wants or its equivalent, without violating the rights of others”
“Any man is educated who knows where to get knowledge when needs it, an how to organize that knowledge into definite plans of action.’Without plans and, even more so, action, an idea is worthless.
If you don’t have the specialized knowledge you need to pursue your dream, you either need to acquire it or connect with people who do! Thus, the Mastermind Group!
Thank you all!
