"The person who stops studying merely because he has finished school is forever hopelessly doomed to mediocrity, no matter what may be his calling. The way of success is the way of continuous pursuit of knowledge."
First, our educational system is set up as an industry much like "the collection system" described in this chapter to provide an education that equips a person to work for those with imagination. A job or career doesn't require any imagination, it only requires one to produce. Promotion in this system is a reward for high results.
The information in this chapter taps about the use of imagination to excel in a job or career.
The mastermind is the highest level use of imagination which few people are willing to commit to or cannot imagine themself ever achieving reaching this level. Someone once said "whether you believe you can or can't, you're right".
The level of one's skill is directly related to their continued pursuit and application of learning.
My mother taught me that I didn't have to wait for anyone to teach me something I want to know. She told me to go to the library to read books on the subject matter by various authors because each one knows something the other doesn't. By reading books by different authors on the same subject I learn all the different things that each knows. This practice is use of imagination and equips me with the knowledge of all of them without having spent the time it took them to learn it.
I'm at a place in life now where I seek mastermind groups in several areas, until I'm able to create my own mastermind group.
Finally, the limitations of life in every area are self imposed by how we see ourselves. How we see ourself determines our pursuit of education and the boundaries of our imagination - which decide the life we experience in faith, finances, relationships, love, etc.
Thanks, and God Bless.
