Ctrl/Cmd+V The Master Mind
“The ‘Master Mind’ may be defined as: “co-ordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people for the attainment of a definite purpose.”
Most people will accept that the efficiency of the mind arises from the efficiency of the brain. By means of thought, brains produce energy, which Hill calls, “Nature’s universal set of building blocks out of which she constructs every material thing in the universe, including man, and every form of animal and vegetable life.” So, by means of thought–energy man has been given the power to participate in creation, positively or negatively, through free will.
You could compare the brain to a computer and the co-operation of many brains in a mastermind situation to a supercomputer. In a supercomputer multiple computers perform parallel processing and are used in quantum mechanics, weather forecasting, climate research, oil and gas exploration.
A computer doesn’t have feelings and can co-operate with other computers in processing data automatically. However, for brains and minds to form an affinity in a mastermind there must be co-ordination of knowledge and effort in a spirit of harmony for a definite purpose. There should be no room for ego and a spirit of listening and open-mindedness should prevail. It is then that the third mind, which Hill refers to, comes into play, “No two minds ever come together without, thereby, creating a third invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind.”
Isn’t it better then to avail of the benefit of the human equivalent of the supercomputer in the mastermind, with its vast reserves of data and experience, than to rely on your own limited resources? Be coachable and keep your ego and sensitivities outside the door. As Hill says, “When two or more people co-ordinate in a spirit of harmony and work toward a definite objective, they place themselves in position, through that alliance, to absorb power directly from the great universal storehouse of Infinite Intelligence.”
Regards and best wishes to all.
