Chapter 10 - Power of the Mastermind
Hill writes "Poverty and riches often change places. The Crash taught the world
this truth, although the world will not long remember the lesson. Poverty may, and
generally does, voluntarily take the place of riches. When riches take the place of
poverty, the change is usually brought about through well conceived and carefully
executed PLANS. Poverty needs no plan. It needs no one to aid it, because it is
bold and ruthless. Riches are shy and timid. They have to be “attracted.”
I heard one of our company leaders on a call say "Your income will never go
higher than your mindset."
She was talking about personal development.
Most people get their personal development from reading a book or watching
and/or to listening to a video of someone teaching personal development. If that
is the only way available to someone, it is better than nothing. We here at
Mentoring for Free can get personal development on a much higher level but
we have to make that choice. If we are here on these calls and we never speak
up or never post a lesson, we may as well be reading a book or listening or watching
a video. It is the participation that takes personal development, our mindset, to the next level.
Thomas A. Edison stated "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed
in overalls and looks like work."
The opportunity is here. We may not have to literally put on the overalls but we need to
recognize the opportunity to work on our mindset. The Think & Grow Rich Lessons
Mastermind is one of the tools in our tool box. We can learn to use it or we can
leave it in the tool box and ignore it.
Napoleon Hill also said "Your big opportunity may be right where you are now."
Tom Peters states "If a window of opportunity appears, don't pull down the shade."
