Chapter 8 Decision
May 2, 2018
Definiteness of decision is a by word with me, however I don’t have to worry about it too much or do I but I know that making a decision won’t cost me my life like the men of the declaration of independence. I come to a decision quickly and change them seldom, instead of make a decision slowly and changing them quickly.
But Jesus Christ was one of those men that quickly came to a decision and seldomly if ever changed them but he was doing the work of his father which was in heaven.
Just as I am, and I take on the characteristics of Jesus he was the original alpha because he is the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end.
But back on the subject of definiteness of purpose, you need desire to do anything without definiteness of purpose and perseverance it will be impossible to do anything that is worthwhile.
John Hancock and Jefferson stake their life on what they believed and that is exactly what you will have to do, the general of the army burned the ship and said to his troops “see the ships going up in flames, either we win or we don’t leave alive, they won.”
The little colored girl staked her existence of a severe beating by her master by standing up to him and stating my mama needs that 50 cents. She got it though.
SO PUT YOUR VERY LIFE ON THE LINE, AND YOU WON’T REGRET THAT DECISION.
