Chapter 3 Faith
“Do the thing, and you shall have the power.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
We can induce a response from Infinite Intelligence, that power of the universe that controls everything. That response can be induced by faith. We have always been told that if we have enough faith we can accomplish anything our heart desires. The trick is having enough faith. If I want more, how can I have more faith.
Faith is a state of mind the may be induced by self-talk. Greater the self-talk, greater the faith. So, faith is created by repeated instructions to the subconscious mind.
Do the thing, and you shall have the power. It isn’t that the action is wrong. It’s that we don’t keep doing the action. We don’t have the things we want or enjoy the things we want to enjoy because we do not keep doing the things, the self-talk, to the point that we develop the FAITH required for what we desire.
It isn’t that the actions are wrong. It’ that we don’t keep doing the actions. The strength of our FAITH is determined by the strength of our autosuggestions. The strength of our autosuggestion is how often we do them and internal visualization we use while doing them. In other words, seeing and believing what you desire over and over until it become a reality.
The dictionary says faith is not based on proof, it is confidence or trust in a person or thing. This can be developed through self-talk or autosuggestion.
