Chapter 3: Faith
Faith is maybe the most important part of the road to success. No matter what you do if you don't have Faith that you will be able to accomplish anything you want then it may really put a toll on everything you want to do. Not to mention it can really hurt your health.
You need to have faith that what you are doing will work out. It is also hard to have faith when you see others don't. That's why they say only surround yourself with success. Spiritual people that have faith that anything is possible.
A speech teacher told me 7 years ago that if my son did not talk by 10 yrs old he never would. I said he was wrong. I had Faith that he would talk and I have been teaching him. I never gave up and I never lost Faith.
I have Faith that everything will work out the way it should and I am making sure I have the ability to make it the way I want. The way I see myself in the future. I see us all together enjoying our days and not worrying about anything. Just doing what we love with the people we love.
I have been diagnosed with something that requires surgery and was told I have something that needs to be looked at further. Someone asked me if I was scared and how am I not scared. I said I am not worried or scared because I have Faith that everything will be alright.
Self-Talk has helped me tremendously this past week. My son coughed in my mouth on Monday and he came home with a fever and coughing. Everyone said oh guess you are next. I have self-talked symptoms from leaving my body. On Tuesday evening I started to feel sick and weak and I had been telling myself I am not sick I am as healthy as I've ever been and today Thursday I feel no symptoms.
Sorry I haven't written a lesson in a while. I have been very uncomfortable and it was hard to sit in one place but I am doing better even though I am still waiting for my surgery.
Thanks to Bob Shoaf for always being there for me and never giving up on me. Thanks for all those that come here every week and inspire me by writing their lessons no matter what life throws at them.
