Ella Wheeler Wilcox gave evidence of her understanding of the power of the subconscious mind when she wrote:
“You never can tell what a thought will do In bringing you hate or love— For thoughts are things, and their airy wings Are swifter than carrier doves.
They follow the law of the universe— Each thing creates its kind, And they speed O’er the track to bring you back Whatever went out from your mind.”
Very clearly, Ms. Wilcox is telling us that whatever we send out will come back to us. We can send
out positive thoughts and emotions or negative thoughts and emotions, and we will recieve back like
kind. However, if you pay attention to what Hill has been teaching throughout this book, you know
that we have to concentrate on the positive thoughts and emotions whereas negative thoughts and
emotions are more or less automatic. Also, one negative thought or emotion can wipe all the positive
thoughts and emotions. The good news is that as we concentrate on the positive thoughts
and emotions, we deny the negative thoughts and emotions a place. Over time, this can become automatic.
(refer to Bob Shoaf's driving a car analogy)
Let us work at being positive until it becomes automatic.
Thank You MIchael and Linda for creating this wonderful system, Thank You Bob for your guidance, support
and belief when I didn't believe. Thank all of you in this Mastermind for continuously pouring into me.
