Chapter 10- Power of the Mastermind
Power in this context is defined as organized and intelligently directed knowledge. In order to have power to transmute desire into its monetary equivalent we must have at least two but preferably more people who work toward a definite end in a spirit of harmony.
To bring about a Mastermind group we need coordination of knowledge and effort in a spirit of harmony between two or more people for the attainment of a definite purpose. if the mastermind group works in the spirit of harmony each member will take on the nature, habits and the power of thought of those with whom they associate.
The two characteristics of any mastermind group are economic and psychic. These characteristics are related to the two know elements in the whole universe which are matter and energy. Matter is economic in nature. Energy is psychic in nature.
In creating a mastermind group we need to think of the people who we want to associate with and who have similar goals and a definite purpose to achieve these goals. We must also think of the psychic nature of the people we have in our group. Do they believe in an infinite intelligence or some universal force that is a part of nature? Do they have a sense of what is right and what is wrong? Do they search out the truth for themselves and have a sense of justice?
When plans are made to build our business or any project that requires more than one person to make it a success, all the members of the group need to participate in the making of the plans. The decisions that are made must be agreed upon by all the members. If there is a part of the group that disagrees with the decision even though the majority have agreed and the group goes with the majority time will tell whether the majority made the right decision. If the decision was not a wise one, the mastermind must reevaluate the plans and come to a decision the whole group agrees upon.
Working with a mastermind is not easy at times especially when there is disagreement but if the group has agreed from the beginning that they will work in a spirit of harmony, problems of communication can be solved. This requires the group to believe in the members of the group and will work in the sprit of harmony for whatever it takes.
