I have had an aha moment that I have not caught before when reading this lesson.
After using our mind to make a decision the aha moment came when Mr. Hill said we must expect, plan and demand.
The aha moment came with this quote, "I tell you further two of you agree upon the earth concerning anything for which you ask, it will come to you from my Father, who is in Heaven."
It reminds me of another quote which is ,"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."
When making a decision, we must not be influenced by opinions of others. If we are we will have no desire of our own. We must use our own mind to make decidions. If we listen to others, that is, really listen, and not talk, but just think about what is said we can realize that these opinions of others are not what we desire. We must realize that genuine wisdom is usually conspicuous through modesty and wisdom. This is what we can learn from the Native Americans of America. When they have counsels, much time is spent in silence because each one is thinking about what has been said before;then they respond. Keep a closed mouth and open eyes and ears.
The conclusion that I have reached is I must listen carefully and use my mind to make MY decision not one mixed with other people's opinions.
