Chapter 4 - Auto-Suggestion
We understand from this chapter that auto-suggestion or self talk is very
Important so we created a self talk that we say every day consistently;
But what about the time we spend thinking and talking to ourselves when
we are not saying our created self talk. What are we telling ourselves
at those times?
How do we really look at the things that are happening in our lives?
When we are calling our clients for the first time to see if they got
the e-book downloaded, are we thinking they are going to answer and be
happy to hear from us or is our mindset telling ourselves they will probably
not even answer the phone and if they do they may not be interested
in going to the next step?
When we set up a coaching call, are we expecting that call to be a positive
one for all parties or are we thinking they will not react the way we a hoping?
When we share the e-book with someone and they go through the three
step process and finish the coaching call and they don't make a firm
decision on what they want to do, do we think about them every day waiting
and wondering what and when they are going to move forward? Do we wait for
these people thinking our business is dependent on them joining?
Are we wasting our time thinking about the ones that did not respond or are
we happily finding new people to connect with and help?
Are we telling ourselves everyday that we don't have the time to build the
business as much as we would like?
All of these are self talk examples. Which ones are we telling ourselves?
Every minute of the day we talk to ourselves and that means we are listening
to ourselves more than we listen to anyone else.
Charles R. Swindoll says - "Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you
react to it."
Swindoll also says - "We need discernment in what we see and what we
hear and what we believe."
