Chapter 15

How to Outwit the Six Ghost of Fear

 

Reading this chapter makes me think of a game. I have 6 Ghost to fight and concur if I take them all at once I have but a small chance of winning. So I take them on one at a time.

              

First Poverty. What is poverty? Not enough to eat, not enough money to buy things you want, not getting paid enough for the work you do, gas for a car, cigarettes, cokes, cell phones for all your children, TV, go to the movies. Poverty is mostly the excuses you keep in your mind. You are the only one who can improve your living and become the person you want to become.

 

Criticism. Worrying about what other people think of you. You think you think you can read their mind. Your mind is occupied with nothing but negative thoughts and everybody criticizes me of what I do the clothes I wear the house I live in the car I drive. You are the only one who can kick the fear out and start living a normal life.

 

Ill health. It is one of the worst fear Ghost. It can start with a small pain and as you think about it it keeps getting worse and worse until you work it into a trip to the doctor or hospital. You can be in great health but you mind keeps on worrying and you get to feeling really bad. No medicine can make you get better the only way you can get better is for your mind to tell you that you are healthy and well.

 

Loss of love of someone. This fear is hard to conquer it could take years to overcome, and you might never conquer it. When the loss is someone of great love you never learn to conquer it you just learn to live with it.

 

Old age and Death. These are locked together if you fear old age you also fear death. These are two things that you know will happen there is no way out of it and you never know when it will happen. You have to learn to forget about them. Talk to that person in the mirror learn to love him/her learn to live in the now stop worrying about the tomorrow that never comes. Be happy sing dance in the rain live in the now.

 

All 15 chapters teach you to believe in yourself. Only you can change your life. Learn to forgive and forget do the things that make you happy and rich. Say your self talk 2, 3, 4 hundred times a day. Does it help? There is no doubt in thousands of people’s mind that it does. Including me.

 

I have known fear, I have faced death, I have faced starvation, I have faced criticism and I have forgiven criticism, I have refused help because of my fear, I have offered help while facing death. Life is no bed of roses it is hard but the results is rewarding beyond your wildest dream.

 

Michael and Linda are giving their life helping us achieving our goals and I will never let them down.

PS I have had a rough year but I am slowly coming out of it I know it is going to take time but I have the rest of my life to accomplish it
