Chapter 5 - Specialized Knowledge
To become a Doctor you have to go to Medical School.
To become a Plumber you have to take a course in plumbing.
To become a Hairdresser you have to go to Hairdressing school.
The Doctor, the Plumber and the Hairdresser all have one thing
in common; they all had to get educated in the field they wanted
to pursue. They all had to learn skills, skills, skills.
Every profession needs to learn skills in order to be successful.
Network Marketing is no different.
To become a successful Network Marketer we do not have
to go to Network Marketing School. Anyone at any time can
join a Network Marketing company. You do not have to apply
to see if you qualify to take the course. You do not have to
put in a certain number of hours to fulfill your apprenticeship.
You just make a decision...
......AND sometimes that is as far as it goes.
Some people decide they want to build a Network Marketing
business, they join a company and then just expect it to
produce an income without their putting in any effort.
They know they need to get educated to become the Doctor, the
Plumber or the Hairdresser; yet many think they don't need
to get educated to become a Network Marketer and they still
expect to make more money than the Doctor, the Plumber or the
Hairdresser. If they are not successful in a few months they
think Network Marketing does not work when all along it was them
that did not work.
Some people are the warriors. They join Network Marketing,
get educated on what they need to do and then they go work,
and they work and they work. They don't look for excuses, they don't
wonder why it is taking so long, they have a dream and they go after that
dream. When they fall they don't "cry in their soup" they pick
themselves up and keep moving forward.
Network Marketing is a wonderful industry. It does not matter
your level of education, your background, your credit or lack of credit,
anyone can build a successful Network Marketing business.
We just have to be coachable, learn the skills and be willing to
put in the work.
A quote from Robin S. Sharma "Hard work opens doors and shows the world
that you are serious about being one of those rare - and special - human
beings who use the fullness of their talents to do their very best."
Are we one of those rare - and special - human beings, the warriors of
