Chapter 15-Six Ghosts of Fear
i have read this chapter many times and I thought that I understood all about what it was saying. I found that the Fear I have more than any other is the fear of Criticism. I like what Mr. Hill says about all our Fears. He says:
“Without doubt, the most common weakness of all human beings is the habit of leaving their minds open to the negative influence of other people. This weakness is all the more damaging, because most people do not recognize that they are cursed by it, and many who acknowledge it, neglect or refuse to correct the evil until it becomes an uncontrollable part of their daily habits.”
This is very true. I found it especially true with my self when I read the “Self-Analysis Test Questions,” near the end of this chapter. Mr. Hill says that we should read the questions and our answers aloud, so we can hear our own voice. This is very true.
By reading these questions I really found out what my fears were and how silly it was of me to let any Fear rule my life. I am going to copy these questions onto another page and look at them often so that all my Fears will disappear.
